Same framing for all spans (untick to set each span)
Superstructure type
Multi-girder Adjacent box beams / slab units Spread box beams Steel tub girders Concrete T-beams Solid slab Girder-floorbeam-stringer Truss-floorbeam-stringer
Number of units
adjacent units: give the number OR the unit width - the number wins; units then fill the deck
Member width (in)
box / slab unit / tub / stem width; blank = typical (48" box or slab, 72" tub, 18" stem)
Floorbeam panels per span
floorbeam types: one value = all spans, or one per span; floorbeams at each panel point
Floorbeams at the abutments and piers too (drawn just inside each support)
Floorbeams cantilever past the main members
Cantilever width (ft)
girder / truss centreline to the cantilever tip; the overhang is then measured from the fascia to the tip (e.g. overhang 1 ft + cantilever 10 ft puts the girder 11 ft in)
Cantilever stringer spacing (ft)
blank = the same spacing as the stringers between the main members
Number of girders
one value = every span, or one per span (comma separated)
Girders / boxes / tubs / stems / stringers per span
one per span, comma separated; ignored for adjacent and solid spans
Overhang, fascia to exterior member centreline (ft)
adjacent box beams / slab units: fascia to the outside face of the exterior unit (0 = butted to the fascia); floorbeams that cantilever: fascia to the cantilever tip
Bridge has diaphragms
Diaphragm lines along span
one value = every span, or one per span (comma separated); floorbeam types: lines in each panel between floorbeams
Diaphragm lines per span
one per span, comma separated; floorbeam spans: lines in each panel
Stagger (ft)
step from one bay's diaphragm to the next, along the span
Diaphragm layout
parallel perpendicular staggered
staggered: each bay's diaphragm square to the girders, stepped along the span by the stagger below
Back to standard framing
Back to even spacing
Leave a small gap at the diaphragm / girder connection
